Our Psychiatric Services include an active inpatient treatment program for ages 18 and above; with crisis intervention services and an outpatient treatment component.
Our program has an 18-year history. We have provided inpatient care for more than 5,000 individuals. Our assessments (screenings) are confidential.
The following psychiatric services are offered:
- 24-hour emergency and crisis services
- Community education
- Free screening to determine appropriate treatment or disposition
The Mental Health Unit is a 19-bed unit staffed by a medical director, program director, two MSW social workers, two therapeutic recreation therapists, nurse manager, RNs, and mental health technicians (MHTs).
Crisis stabilization is offered via a multi-disciplinary approach that includes:
- Thorough Assessments
- Medication Administration
- Patient Education
- Group and Individual Psychotherapy
- Recreation Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Thorough Discharge Planning
